TrueCV(truecv.io,以下称"我们")提供基于证明人的背景调查服务。本政策说明我们如何收集、使用、分享和保护个人信息。联系方式:sebastian@truecv.io。
1. 我们处理哪些信息
- 发起方(HR/企业):邮箱、公司名称。
- 候选人(由 HR 提供):姓名、曾任职公司、自述岗位;以及证明人对该候选人的回答(是否共事、时间段、岗位、推荐程度、补充说明)。
- 证明人:邮箱、姓名、对候选人的回答。
- 技术信息:邮件送达/打开/退信等投递事件、基本访问日志、订单与支付状态。
我们不收集身份证件号、银行卡号等敏感身份/金融信息。
2. 处理目的与依据
我们仅为受 HR 委托、且经候选人授权的背景调查目的处理上述信息。HR 在下单时须确认候选人已授权本次背调。依据包括:为提供所请求服务之必要(合同/合法利益),以及相关方之同意。
3. 信息如何被分享
- 证明人的回答(含其姓名、邮箱)将完整分享给发起背调的 HR——这是本服务的核心。证明人在提交前会看到此告知。
- 服务商(受托处理者):托管数据库(Supabase,新加坡)、邮件发送(Resend)、应用托管(Vercel)、支付(微信支付 / Stripe)。我们仅在提供服务所必需范围内向其提供信息。
- 我们不出售个人信息,不用于与背调无关的目的。
4. 跨境传输
数据可能存储或处理于您所在国家/地区之外(如新加坡、美国)。对于中国大陆的候选人/证明人,相关个人信息可能出境;如您对此有异议,请联系我们。
5. 保留期限
我们在完成背调目的所必需的期间内保留信息,并在其后 12 个月删除或匿名化;法律另有要求的除外。
6. 您的权利
您(候选人、证明人或 HR)有权查阅、更正、删除您的个人信息,或撤回同意/提出异议——包括对证明人回答内容准确性的申诉。请 email sebastian@truecv.io,我们将在合理期限内处理。
7. 安全
我们采用传输加密(HTTPS)、静态加密、访问控制等措施保护信息。但没有任何系统能保证绝对安全。

TrueCV (truecv.io, "we") provides referee-based background/reference checks. This policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information. Contact: sebastian@truecv.io.
1. Information we process
- Requester (HR/employer): email, company name.
- Candidate(provided by HR): name, prior employer, self-stated role; plus the referee's answers about the candidate (worked together, period, role, recommendation, free-form note).
- Referee: email, name, their answers.
- Technical: email delivery/open/bounce events, basic access logs, order and payment status.
We do not collect government-ID or financial-account numbers.
2. Purpose and lawful basis
We process the above solely for a reference check requested by an HR/employer and authorized by the candidate. The HR confirms at checkout that the candidate has authorized the check. Bases include necessity to provide the requested service (contract / legitimate interest) and consent.
3. How information is shared
- The referee's answers (including their name and email) are shared in full with the requesting HR — this is the core service. Referees see this notice before submitting.
- Processors: database hosting (Supabase, Singapore), email (Resend), app hosting (Vercel), payments (WeChat Pay / Stripe), used only as needed to provide the service.
- We do not sell personal information or use it for unrelated purposes.
4. Cross-border transfer
Data may be stored or processed outside your country (e.g. Singapore, US). For data subjects in mainland China, personal information may be transferred abroad; contact us if you object.
5. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed for the check, then delete or anonymize it after 12 months, unless the law requires otherwise.
6. Your rights
You (candidate, referee, or HR) may access, correct, or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent / object — including disputing the accuracy of a referee's answer. Email sebastian@truecv.io and we will respond within a reasonable time.
7. Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), encryption at rest, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure.
